This is one of my favourite... healthy meal, no oil needed. I love the one with bamboo shoots, lotus root, carrots, shiitake... yumm yumm..
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/4 pound thinly sliced beef sirloin
- 4 potatoes
- 1 onion
- 4 tbsps soy sauce
- 4 tbsps sake (Japanese fermented, mildly alcoholic beverage made from rice. For muslims, ignore this / take out)
- 4 tbsps mirin (sweet Japanese rice wine used especially in cooking. For muslims, ignore this / take out)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 8 snow peas
- 2 cups dashi soup
